Mae Frances Photography

A dear friend of mine was looking for a logo and watermark to give her brand more consistency. Mae is a super talented photographer with an authentic, adventurous spirit and we needed a logo to match. Because she's based in Denver, she wanted something that felt outdoorsy, but didn't necessarily scream "I'M AN OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHER FROM COLORADO." Eventually, we landed on this topography-esque design. The center shape being an island she grew up next to in Michigan, where her love of all things outdoors took root. From there, the concentric circles radiate outward until they eventually dissipate. This represents her beginning in MI and how she's developed her talent into something truly unique. And while it may not be apparent to others viewing it initially, I wanted this mark to be something special and to represent both her past and her limitless future.
